Is Moonitor for iPhone free?
Yes. Moonitor is free to use, with live prices, iCloud sync and unlimited transactions. Moonitor Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It lifts the free limits, adds the home screen widget, and delivers alerts while the app is closed.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your portfolio is stored on your iPhone, and iCloud sync uses your own private iCloud container.
Does Moonitor connect to my exchange account?
No, and it never asks for API keys. You record what you bought or sold yourself, and Moonitor prices it using public market data. Nothing can be traded or withdrawn through the app.
How do alerts work when the app is closed?
iOS will not keep an app running in the background to watch a market, so Moonitor Pro uses a server that watches the market for you and sends a push notification when your price is crossed. Only the market and the target price are sent, never your holdings.
Which exchanges are supported?

Does hiding balances hide the prices too?
